Interactive Image Creator can be used to annotate images and to make them interactive. Though it doesn't sound like much, you will thank this application when you have to direct someone's attention to a specific part of an image and to explain it over a distance. The software serves many purposes, for anyone, from professionals to amateurs.

Installing Interactive Image Creator on a Windows-powered computer is a quick and simple task. It is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it doesn't ask for any kind of tools, drivers or services. The hardware requirements are modest, so you can run the program even on older machines.

The user interface and its controls shouldn't present a challenge for anyone. Once you load an image in the main editing area, you can start annotating right away, using a series of tools, located around the editing area. First, you can overlay markers, text and various lines and shapes. Furthermore, the software lets you edit the properties of each inserted element, in the lower region of the window. Inserted items are automatically categorized in a series of collapsible menus, on the right side of the window.

The same customization options are available for most element types. You can change their size, add labels, link them with a web page or make them show an infobox, which you may customize on a separate window. Another useful feature is the possibility of creating a legend, to explain each element. The annotated image can be previewed at any time, on the same user interface. Alternatively, you can preview it on a web browser.

When you are done annotating the image, you may choose from two output methods. You can either save your picture as a simple, not-interactive image or you can publish and share your work. After uploading the picture on the Internet, the program will provide you with a direct link, so you can access it right away on a browser. What's more, Interactive Image Creator will also provide you with an embedded code, so you can publish the annotated image on your own blog or website, if you have one.

Pros

You can annotate images and make them interactive. Images can be published with a single click. The software's controls are simple and easy to understand.

Cons

There are no serious issues to address. If you have a lot to talk about a certain picture, Interactive Image Creator will help you tell its story in a comfortable and elegant manner.
